Sets the creative direction for the brand and all aspects of the advertising production process
Conceptualizes and develops brand and product strategic marketing plan. Develops yearly marketing/brand development plan
Responsible for planning and implementing marketing plans, programs, operations and activities according to stipulated timeline - ensuring quality brand, product, promotion, advertising, event and public relationship management
Manages brand profit and loss and budget to deliver profit and sales targets
Develops effective pricing strategy and understands the impact of pricing and costing on profit and loss
Responsible to analyzes, forecasts and projects monthly production/ordering volume and ensure the right level of inventory (stock)- to prevent out of stocks situation
Analyzes competitor's strategy and plans necessary steps in managing competition
Identifies the new potential of new product development together with Senior Product Manager and assists in the development of new product
Understands the current consumer needs, marketplace trends, market research, packaging, advertising, media, key business challenges, business drivers, technology/science behind development of products
Understands major Organization functions including sales, key accounts, manufacturing/production, commercial/procurement, packaging, research and development, and how they work and align respective businesses
Communicates effectively with individuals at all levels of the Organization. Networks effectively with all functional groups. Manages internal/external business partners (agencies etc). Manages internal/external business partners (e.g. agencies). Effectively influences/ coordinate to build team work with those not directly under one's immediate control for result achieving
Manages multiple tasks in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
Aligns and obtains prior approval from immediate superior for all brand directions, strategies and implementations
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any relevant field
Min 7-8 years working experience in FMCG brand marketing position or equivalent
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to prioritize multiple tasks, results oriented, resourceful, team player, hardworking
Possess strong presentation, planning, organizing and analytical skills
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to read and write in Mandarin is an added advantage
Systematic, organized and meticulous.
Proficient in MS office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
